Cookie Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

This page lists every cookie and every item of browser storage that Akordo, operated by the individual operating Akordo, uses on its website and app, and why. The short version: they are all needed to make Akordo work or to remember a choice you made. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

It forms part of our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the service.

1.What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Browser storage ("local storage" and "session storage") is similar, but stays in your browser and is never sent to us automatically. Both can only be read by the website that created them.

2.Cookies we use

All of these are strictly necessary, so they don't need your consent:

  • Login session — sb-…-auth-token (sometimes split into parts ending in .0, .1). Set by our login provider when you log in, so you stay logged in from page to page. Removed when you log out.
  • Language — NEXT_LOCALE. Remembers whether you read Akordo in Albanian or English. Kept for 1 year.
  • Last location — akordo_home_loc_…. Remembers which location you were last looking at in a Business, so Home opens there. One per person and Business on this device, only after you log in. Kept for 1 year.

3.Browser storage we use

These stay on your device and only remember display choices and which hints you have already seen:

  • akordo-theme — light or dark mode.
  • akordo-splash-shown (session storage) — that the opening animation has played, so it shows once per visit.
  • akordo-last-primary-tab — the last main tab you used, to highlight the menu correctly.
  • akordo-week-mode, akordo-review-mode — how you like the week view of the schedule laid out.
  • akordo:a2hs-dismissed — that you closed the "Add to Home Screen" tip.
  • akordo:home-billing-alert-dismissed:… — that an Owner closed a billing reminder on Home.
  • akordo:push-prompt-dismissed, akordo:push-visits, akordo:push-visit-counted, akordo:push-synced, akordo:push-opted-out — when to suggest push notifications, and whether you turned them off on this device.
  • akordo:cookie-notice — that you have seen the cookie notice.

4.Service worker

If you turn on push notifications, your browser installs a small Akordo script (a "service worker") that receives notifications and shows them, even when Akordo isn't open. It is used for nothing else, and it is not installed unless push notifications are available.

5.No analytics or advertising

Akordo uses no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and loads no third-party tracking scripts. If we ever add an analytics service, we will update this page first.

6.Managing cookies

You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. If you block or delete the login cookie, you will be logged out and won't be able to log in until you allow it again. Deleting the other items only resets the choices and hints listed above.

7.Changes to this policy

If we add or change a cookie or storage item, we will update this page. The date at the top shows the last change.
